Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and David Frohman, President of Peachstate Historical Consulting, Inc., have created the very first Apollo 11 manuscript limited edition
March 3, 1997
David Frohman, President of Peachstate Historical Consulting, Inc., announced today that he and astronaut Buzz Aldrin have created the first-known Apollo 11 limited-edition manuscript today. The edition was created on seventy-five identical 16 x 20 inch color photographs of Buzz Aldrin on the Moon. At the bottom of the photograph Aldrin then inscribed by hand the following words:
"July 20, 1969 / We Came In Peace for All Mankind / Buzz Aldrin / Lunar Module Pilot / Apollo 11"
Aldrin thus inscribed the date of the Apollo 11 landing and quoted the final line of text on the historic plaque which landed with them on the Moon. He then signed his name and added his full Apollo 11 mission title. Peachstate expects to market the historic prints at an original issue price of $475.00 to their clientele.
