January 3, 2000
David Frohman, President of Peachstate Historical Consulting, Inc., stated today that he was honored to have been selected to officially catalog and appraise the personal space collection of Apollo 16 Moonwalker Charles M. Duke, Jr. this January.
Duke is best known as the "CAPCOM" on Apollo 11 who talked Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin down onto the Moon, and as the tenth man to later walk on the Moon during Apollo 16 in 1972.
"I am both thrilled and honored by my selection to officially catalog and appraise the personal space collection of General Duke", Frohman said. "His remarkable collection represents one of the most complete and intact holdings of lunar artifacts in the world. As such, I will be privileged to gain a unique education regarding what literally exists in terms of the broad spectrum of artifacts returned from the Moon.
