David Frohman, President of Peachstate Historical Consulting, Inc., announced that he was honored to have been selected by the "United States Golf Association' to conduct the first official appraisal of the legendary golf club used by Alan Shepard on the Moon during Apollo 14 in 1971 in recent years.

"The golf club used by Shepard on the Moon is literally the world's single most famous space and sporting artifact", Frohman said. "It represents an American and world icon familiar to everyone!"

Shortly after Shepard's return from the Moon, he donated the iconic golf club to the United States Golf Association museum in New Jersey, where it has resided under tight security for nearly 40 years.

Recently, there was an effort on the part of the "Kansas Cosmosphere & Space Center" to obtain the legendary "Six-Iron" to display on loan for six months. However, the golf club had never left the premises of the "USGA" museum, and before doing so it required a formal certified insurance appraisal so that appropriate coverage could be obtained. That, in-turn, required the services of a world-class appraiser of space and lunar artifacts.

David Frohman and his firm were selected based on Frohman's experience in literally cataloging and appraising hundreds of flown lunar artifacts. Indeed, Frohman is believed to have officially cataloged and appraised more lunar artifacts then any other private non-governmental entity in history to date!

"I am honored to have received this assignment", Frohman stated. "My work will permit this legendary icon to be seen and experienced firsthand by the public, and I am thrilled to help make this happen!"
